CBD is the wellness industry’s latest darling. But what is it and should you be making CBD smoothies every morning? We’re here to break it all down – and give you a few CBD smoothie recipes to try if you decide to go for it!

What is CBD?

Plain and simple, CBD (which stands for cannabidiol) is a compound found in the hemp plant. It’s touted as the next big thing in the wellness world. 1 frozen banana, peeled

½ cup unflavored yogurt

½ cup ice

¼ cup milk of choice

1 tbsp jaggery or honey

1 tsp crushed ginger

4 walnuts

1 ml CBD tincture

Add all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Peach Kale Smoothie

Peach and kale may be an unlikely combination, but the flavors complement each other quite well.

1 cup frozen peaches

1 cup chopped kale

¼ cup frozen berries

1 cup milk of choice

½ cup ice

1 tbsp flaxseeds

1 ml lemon CBD tincture

Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Oatmeal Smoothie

This is a great CBD smoothie recipe for anyone who needs to sustain energy all day long.

½ cup overnight oats (to prepare put ¼ cup oats in ¼ milk or water in the refrigerator overnight.

1 apple, sliced

½ tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp honey

1 tsp peanut or almond butter

1 ml unflavored CBD tincture

Blend all ingredients until smooth.

Melon CBD Smoothies

These watery fruits offer a lot of benefits to your hair and skin. Not to mention, they’re rich in antioxidants. This CBD smoothie will be a thinner consistency than others.

½ cup cubed & seeded cantaloupe

½ cup cubed & seeded watermelon

½ cup frozen unflavored yogurt

1 ml lemon CBD tincture

Blend all ingredients until smooth.
