Mulled wine is the perfect holiday drink!

What is Mulled Wine?

Mulled wine is a warm or hot beverage consisting of wine, spices, and sometimes fruit or fruit juice. You don’t necessarily need to use expensive wine for mulled wine; even boxed wine will do. Some recipes call for additional alcohol like rum or vodka. It’s a traditional European drink and particularly popular in the winter holidays.

There are many variations of mulled wine; these are a few of our favorites!

For every mulled wine recipe, just let the ingredients simmer in a pot on low heat on the stove for 5-7 minutes, stirring until the sugar is dissolved. Strain before serving.
